Icehotel Jukkasjarvi in Swedish Lapland — the world’s first ice hotel — is all set to open for tourists on December 10. The hotel traditionally opens early in December, when the team of snow builders, architects and designers have finished their annual task of crafting over 22,000 tonnes of frozen matter into a fully-functioning hotel. This year, there are 60 ice rooms, an ice church, and an ice bar.
