Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan attended a dekko of the Anusha Rizvi-directed movie at Pixion in Bandra. There Jaya Bachchan was surprised to learn that Kiran Rao speaks fluent Bengali.

Seems too many film trials have been happening in the city over the last few days. And not surprisingly, most of them were of Peepli [Live],hosted by Aamir Khan.

On Thursday evening, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan attended a dekko of the Anusha Rizvi-directed movie at Pixion in Bandra.

My birdy from Bandra tells me that Jayaji was surprised to learn that Kiran Rao speaks fluent Bengali. And then, there was no stopping the ladies from talking in the
former’s mother-tongue.

Even later, when the Bachchans proceeded to Khan household for dinner, Kiran and Jayaji had a ball conversing in Bengali. Apparently, Amitji and Aamir let them carry on with their chit-chat, preferring to enjoy the delicious food instead. Kewl!
