Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s penchant for bling and shiny disco colour outfits is a known fact by now. Chunky gold neckpieces were gradually replaced by blingy ornaments. After the disastrous Cannes debut, way back in 2002, Rai ever so slowly managed to get her act right in her more recent public appearances.

Cannes and otherwise — she started to sport softer colours with minimum shine and a touch of elegance to the silhouettes and saris. But clearly, Rai’s liking for loud colours still remains intact, and pops out of the closet at intermittent intervals.

And fluorescent green seems to be her personal favourite. Rai has often been spotted in ensembles in the hue, most recently at Laila Khan’s wedding reception, on Saturday.
