Prince Harry is said to be poking fun at his elder brother Prince William for putting on weight with a healthy appetite encouraged by the Queen, urging the newly married couple to start their day with porridge.
The 29-year-old future king has been nicknamed “Teletubby” due to his cuddly little paunch after marriage.
“William is very content as a married man and has been enjoying his food. He has put on a few pounds and looks very healthy. Unfortunately for him, Harry sees a bit of a spare tyre as ammunition - and immediately nicknamed Wills the Teletubby,” the Sun quoted a royal source as saying.
“He also asked his brother if he knows who has eaten all the pies. It’s typical banter from Harry,” the source said.
The search and rescue helicopter pilot based at RAF Valley in Anglesey, North Wales, has admitted to 26-year-old Harry that he may have to buy a new wetsuit for a planned surfing trip because his old one no longer fits after piling on the extra pounds.
“He may need a more forgiving fit but there is no suggestion he is really overweight."
“Kate loves it - she says it makes him cuddly,” the source added.
