Though Alia got accolades for her performances in Highway and 2 States, jokes on the actor began after she gave the wrong answer to a question asked by Karan Johar on his chat show.



"There are some jokes on me on Twitter and Facebook because I am apparently stupid. They are very hilarious," says Alia.

She also says that such jokes don’t disturb her. "I don’t get upset at them, I laugh at them. I am the first person to laugh at myself. I always say that I’d rather be stupid than pretend to be intelligent," says Alia.
