Bollywood heartthrob Imran Khan is now officially engaged to his long-time girlfriend Avantika Malik. The news became public recently when Imran and Avantika were in Delhi to attend Arjun Rampal’s restaurant opening.

The news became public recently when Imran and Avantika were in Delhi to attend Arjun Rampal’s restaurant opening. It was, in fact, Rampal who announced the good news to the guests present, leading to a round of congratulations from everyone.

Imran had proposed to his lady love in July at a surprise birthday bash he organised for her. Those who attended the party say Avantika agreed gleefully amidst loud cheers from close friends. At the moment, Imran says he is “waiting to set a date for the proper ceremony”.

A formal announcement on the wedding date isn’t likely before January, as the couple is not ready to divulge any details yet. Imran and Avantika are childhood friends and have been seeing each other for the past few years.
