Bipasha Basu has put an end to rumours that she has parted ways with long-time beau, actor John Abraham, saying they are very much together and "fine".

Bipasha Basu has put an end to rumours that she has parted ways with long-time beau, actor John Abraham, saying they are very much together and "fine". "Speculation is a part of our business! But everything is fine with John and me," said Basu on Twitter.

The actor, who has been with Abraham for eight years, said that she doesn't like constant rumours about her relationship. "I hope people realise that everyone's life should be treated with dignity and not as gossip! All of us are real human beings after all!" she wrote.

For now, Basu is excited about her first international film, Roland Joffe's Singularity, in which she plays Tulaja, a Maratha warrior.
