The 35-year-old actor has joined hands with stars like Chace Crawford and Justin Long to work on a new campaign driven by viral videos and social networking to lobby for an environmental bill in Washington, People magazine online reported.

‘This Is Our Moment’, launched by The National Resource Defense Council Action Fund, of which DiCaprio is a trustee, is striving to urge the Congress to pass the Clean Energy, Jobs and American Power Act.

“We’re going to be watching all you senators, very closely,” DiCaprio said, explaining how to flood their email in-boxes via a link on the campaign’s website.
