He may be a Hollywood superstar but Speed star Keanu Reeves cut a solitary figure as he sat outside a warehouse with a single cupcake and candle on his 46th birthday.

Reeves was later seen talking on his phone as he hung around the loading dock in New York, dressed casually in jeans, a shirt and blazer. The actor was soon joined by some workers from the warehouse, who he was seen chatting to and having coffee with.

The Matrix star has developed a reputation of being a recluse and is often pictured alone, sometimes eating a sandwich on a park bench or walking the street, bearded and looking miserable, Daily Mail reported.

The actor is reportedly planning to make a third Bill and Ted movie, following the 1991 sequel Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey.
