Carey said that she performed for the family of Gaddafi, who has ruled Libya for 40 years, and is now facing a revolt, at a party in the Caribbean. She has promised to be careful about who she works for in future. “I was naive and unaware of who I was booked to perform for. I feel horrible and embarrassed,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
