Oscar winning actor Penelope Cruz has become more dedicated towards children’s charities after becoming a mother. Cruz worked as a volunteer at an orphanage run by Mother Teresa in India, at the age of 22, reports

She says, “That experience changed the way I see the world.” Cruz has since engaged in similar campaigns such as rocker Bono’s project for AIDS sufferers in Africa, and actor Sean Penn’s efforts to rebuild Haiti after the massive earthquake of 2010.
