Diljit Dosanjh falls at Lilly Singh's mom's feet after hosting them at his Toronto concert, fans praise his 'sanskaar'
Lilly Singh shared pictures from her mother's meeting with Diljit Singh after they attended his concert in Toronto.
Diljit Dosanjh, who is currently in Canada as part of his Born To Shine World Tour, left his fans impressed as he took the blessings of comedian Lilly Singh's mother Malwinder Singh after she attended her concert. Lilly later took to her Instagram account to post pictures from the meeting, as she shared how the singer-actor hosted her mother and her 'aunty squad' at his concert in Toronto. One of the pictures showed Diljit sitting on the floor with his hands folded while Lilly Singh and her mother stood next to him. All three of them were laughing in the candid picture. Lilly, who was wearing a t-shirt printed with Diljit's face, shared another picture in which the singer had his head bowed down and his hands on her mom's feet. Lilly's mom patted Diljit's back as she gave him her blessings.
Lilly captioned the pictures with a long note, in which she shared how meeting Diljit used to be one of the goals on her vision board in her childhood. She wrote, "Anything for my mama (red heart emoji) shoutouts to the homie @diljitdosanjh for hosting my entire aunty squad at his show last night. As soon as Diljit came off stage and saw my mom and I, he dropped down for a blessing and my mom was a SIGHT TO SEE."
The YouTuber added, "These moments and memories are what make the immense hustle worth it. Believe in yourselves!! I went home after the concert to sleep in my childhood bedroom and before I fell asleep, I looked up at my old vision board and smiled (and cried) at the picture of Diljit." She also added the hashtag '#adaughterdidthat.'
In the comments section, Diljit wrote, "Waheguru," adding folded-hands emoji. He also shared one of the pictures on his Instagram Stories, along with a message for Lilly. He wrote, "Very very proud aa asi apni Punjabi kudi te (very very proud of our own Punjabi girl). With respected mummy ji (folded-hands emoji)." Meanwhile, fans also showered love on the post, calling it 'wholesome' and 'heartwarming'. Some even appreciated the singer for not forgetting his ‘sanskar’ (values)
