Ranveer Singh to perform at Film and Television awards

After being called one of the most promising newcomers, Ranveer Singh of Band Baaja Baaraat is in the news once again. The actor will be performing at Balaji's Global Indian Film and Television Awards to be held on February 12.

After being called one of the most promising newcomers, Ranveer Singh of Band Baaja Baaraat is in the news once again. The actor will be performing at Balaji's Global Indian Film and Television Awards to be held on February 12 this year. What makes it even more special for Singh is that Shah Rukh Khan has already been roped in to perform at the event, which will be the first joint film and television awards in India.

Singh will perform with prominent TV actors Ankita Lokhande (Pavitra Rishta), Ragini (Sasural Genda Phool) and Rashmi Desai (Uttaran). Directors Abhishek Kapoor, Mahesh Mathai, Sanjay Gupta, Sanjay F Gupta and others are part of the awards’ film jury while Shaileja Kejriwal, Sanjay Malwanker, Sakshi Tanwar, BP Singh, Sanjay Upadhayay are part of the TV jury.

The event will have six key categories namely Popular, Technical, Programming, Achievement (for which there will be no nominations), Special Honours and Voters’ Choice and 30 subcategories.
