Scarlett Johansson finds nickname ScarJo 'insulting'

The 29-year-old actor, who is expecting her first child with fiance Romain Dauriac, told Glamour magazine that she associates the moniker with a pop star, E! Online reported. She added that Scar Jo sounds tacky, lazy and flippant.

Scarlett Johansson has revealed that she hates being called with her Hollywood nickname Scar Jo because she finds it insulting.

The 29-year-old actor, who is expecting her first child with fiance Romain Dauriac, told Glamour magazine that she associates the moniker with a pop star, E! Online reported. She added that ScarJo sounds tacky, lazy and flippant.

She also revealed that she hates the focus on her looks and thinks it’s demeaning to women.

“Actresses get stupid questions asked of them all the time, like, ‘How do you stay sexy?’ or ‘What’s your sexiest quality?’ All these ridiculous things you would never ask a man.”
