The two welcomed the New Year separately. Swift, 21, celebrated it in Nashville at a party, Gyllenhaal, 30, was in New York, where he attended a closing party for Broadway show Fela!

After spending the Thanksgiving weekend together, the two were last seen publicly together in Los Angeles.
