SRK to get chappals from cousin!
Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s Pakistani cousin, Noor Jehan is looking forward to a reunion with him after a gap of 13 years, when she visits India next month. And, she is bringing along a gift for him — a pair of chappals.
It’s time for some family drama in true blue cross-border Bollywood style. Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s Pakistani cousin, Noor Jehan is looking forward to a reunion with him after a gap of 13 years, when she visits India next month. And, she is bringing along a gift for him — a pair of chappals.
Noor Jehan, a resident of Peshawar, is the daughter of Shah Rukh’s father’s brother. She is hoping to meet SRK when she visits India to attend a wedding. “I am going to Delhi in the first week of February and will stay there for around 10 days. I shall approach Shah Rukh and if he spares time for me, I will proceed to Mumbai from Delhi,” says Noor Jehan.
Ask why, of all things, she chooses to bring along a set of chappals for him, and she says, “During an earlier visit to Peshawar, Shah Rukh bought a pair of chappals that he used for about seven years.” She further explains that when her brother Mansoor visited India in 2001, Shah Rukh had asked him to bring a pair of chappals. Mansoor took three pairs for him.
