Suri Cruise is going to study Chinese at her swanky $39,750 per year Avenues school in Manhattan, it has been revealed.
The 6-year-old’s famous parents have apparently enrolled their youngster in a Mandarin language course. “Suri is going to be learning Mandarin,” the Daily Mail quoted a source as telling Radar Online. “She is in the program for the Lower School which focuses on Chinese, and this is a great foundation for her,” the source said.
According to the website, the prestigious New York school also has plans to open campuses in several cities across China, including Beijing and Shanghai, and also one in Hong Kong.
The strategy is to completely immerse students in the Chinese culture.
