From Rajiv Chowk in Connaught Place, the Metro takes 30 minutes to reach Noida’s Sector 18 Metro station. Surrounded by malls, bazaars and cool eating joints, it is one of the most happening Metro stations in the rail network.

ATTA MARKET
Colourful and hodgepodge, Atta Market is trans-Yamuna’s Chandni Chowk. There is so much to eat here — chaat, momos and pani puri. But it is the rolls — veg, paneer, mutton and chicken — that the area is particularly famous for. There are custom shops selling inexpensive and stylish clothes, electronic gadgets and book shops. And don’t miss the shake at the famous Priya Mango Shake.
CENTRE STAGE MALL (CSM)
The rickshawwallah charges Rs 15 from the station to Noida’s first mall. Elevate, NCR’s biggest dance floor, is its pride. The mall has got a range of branded showrooms and cafe chains. The basement has an open space where, if you are lucky, you may find a live gig taking place. However, if your date is a bore, you may play games such as air-hockey and bike simulator.
SUNEHRI MARKET
Don’t dismiss it just as another lane in Atta Market. This stretch is Noida’s equivalent of Sarojini Nagar. One can get cool tees, trendy handbags and lovely bamboo moorahs. Bargaining is advised.
SNACK STREET
If you are not in the mood for malls, just walk the street outside CSM. It’s lined with cafes and coffee bars such as Café Coffee Day, Barista, Kaffiiaa, Subway, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s and so on.GREAT INDIA PLACE. If one side of the Metro station has Atta market, the Great India Mall guards the other.
This mall has a huge food court on the top floor. There is a bowling alley and pool tables for leisure. If you want to immortalise your lover on your arm, the mall also has tattoo artists. The same complex has Worlds of Wonderland, an amusement park which the residents of Noida compare to Mumbai’s famous Esselworld.
