Katy Perry and Russell Brand are reportedly being offered big money by Television chat shows in the US, to reveal the story behind their split.

Television insiders reckon the demand is so great they can name their price in the bidding war that is going on.

Producers behind top names like Piers Morgan, Oprah Winfrey and Ellen Degeneres are scrambling with their cheque books to get the exclusive on the breakdown of the marriage.

Everyone wants to know the real reasons why the comedian Brand and US singer Perry decided their fairytale romance was over just 14 months after tying the knot.

“Katy Perry is the biggest star of the moment and in terms of sales she eclipses Lady Gaga,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

“Everyone thought she had the perfect career and marriage,” the source said.
