In a departure from the usual media-shy celebrations, actor Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana came out to wave to fans who had gathered outside their Mumbai home, Mannat. SRK even held a press con at home to send out best wishes. Later in the day, the actor threw a bash for family and close friends from the film industry. Among those who attended were actor Priyanka Chopra and filmmakers Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar.
Actor Aamir Khan, however, kept it quiet and spent the day with his family, including nephew Imran Khan, ex-wife Reena Dutta and daughter Ira. Actor Sanjay Dutt and actor Zayed Khan also invited friends for dinner. Singer Adnan Sami celebrated Eid at home with contestants of a show he is judging.
