Now you would wonder why Katrina is so desperate for a big budget film. It's simple - Katrina's last film Tees Maar Khan crashed at the box office without a trace and she does not have a film with any of the Khans.
Meanwhile, Dostana 2 has been pushed on the backburner and her film with Ayaan Mukherjee has Deepika Padukone in the lead. Now, all that remains is Kabir Khan's YRF project starring Salman Khan and here's why it's a tricky road for Kat.
To be able to bag the role Kat needs to patch things up with Sallu at least on the professional front as he has the last word in this matter. Buzz is that a helpless Kat has been texting him and his family relentlessly much to their annoyance, Mid-Day reported.
The actress' friend told the tabloid, "She is in touch with Kabir but his film hasn't been offered to her. She is still fond of him but they haven't been in touch for months now."
It was earlier reported that Kat was offered Salman's sister Alvira's film Bodyguard which she turned down because she wanted to maintain her distance with Sallu. Bad move in retrospect, what say Kat!
