Actor and co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kings XI Punjab, Preity Zinta, who is often spotted cheering her team members during the matches, says that this season she might not be seen as frequently.

“I am not sure if I will be seen much in the IPL this year as I am very busy with my film Ishkq in Paris,” says Preity, who was in the Capital on Saturday night to attend the engagement ceremony of Yes Bank founder and CEO, Mumbai-based Rana Kapoor’s daughter Raakhe Kapoor, with Delhi-based entrepreneur, Alkesh Tandon.

Preity, who has not been seen much in the recent past, made a rare public appearance at the event that saw the who’s who of the country turn up to wish the couple.

Though the dimpled beauty maintains that it’s her hectic schedule that is keeping her busy, sources insist that there are more reasons to it.

“Preity is quite fed up with IPL and also the politics involved in it. Moreover, she feels that her name is used many times in the wrong way. That is why she has decided to keep away from IPL 5,” says a source close to the 37-year-old actor.
