The red carpet is all about keeping it simple and chic. While some celebrities keep their makeup minimalist, some choose to stay glamorous. Makeup artist Saba Poonawala, shares tips on how to be red carpet ready with the right makeup and accessories.
Keep the base dewy, with rose pink lips, winged eyeliner and add an extremely soft neutral shade of an eye shadow, which is almost invisible, but still makes the eye stand out. Team this up with a pair of solid earrings to make a bold statement.
If you love drama, experiment with gold and brown eye shadow, and add some pale pink and brown colour for the lips. Opt for a neck band as a part of your outfit to go with this look.
If you’re one of the classic-look fans, then opt for red lip colour. Give yourself a flawless base, contour those cheek bones and highlight the Cupids bow on your lips. For this look, you can go with a soft smokey eye, or even a beige monotone with a chocolate brown half cut creased look for the eyes. You can team this look with a statement neck piece.
Try flawless full coverage base using air brush makeup. Air brush is a silicone based makeup which is extremely light on the face and lasts longer. It gives a flawless finish.
You can go with nude pink lips, and a thicker (probably winged) liner to go with this look. For the eyebrows, fill the brows, all the way but keep it natural. Remember to comb the brows well before setting them. Remember to contour and highlight your face well to bring out the simplicity of this look. Go minimal with the jewellery. You can wear a chunky ring or carry a clutch to go with it.
