Lady Gaga’s love for India is getting stronger. After she sported a tri-colour hairdo during her India visit last year, the 26-year-old international pop queen wore creations by two Indian designers at the Hong Kong airport on Tuesday.

Known for her unconventional fashion choices, Gaga wore a white dress by designer duo Alpana and Neeraj, and accessorised it with Little Shilpa’s headgear inspired by cartoon character Mickey Mouse’s ears.

Both the pieces are from the designers’ fall 2012 collection, and they are thrilled. Designer Alpana Chauhan of the label Alpana & Neeraj says, "Lady Gaga is the ultimate style diva and this is a proud moment for us. The knee-length skirt with mermaid cut looks great on Gaga."

Shilpa Chavan of the label Little Shilpa says, "This is a big recognition for any designer. Indian designers are working on contemporary and global fashion, which celebs in the West easily relate to."
