Actor Kabir Bedi wants to move — right here, right now.

Kabir Bedi wants to come and live in Delhi as soon as he can get the money to buy a place in Nizamuddin East. “I have spent very good days here. I would go to Humayun’s Tomb for walks and have also gone on dates there,” said Bedi, the eternal charmer who walked the runway with the glamorous Dimple Kapadia here on Sunday evening for JJ Valaya, the grand finale designer of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.

The collection, ‘Kingdom of Love’, had Kabir and Dimple as the king and queen. The actor had no apprehensions about modelling, he told HT City just before stepping out on the runway. “I have done theatre for years and this comes naturally to me.” Dimple as his partner was perfect, too, as “we have worked together in the film Mera Shikaar”.

Given a choice, whom would he have picked to walk the ramp with him? “You will get me into trouble with the lady I am love with,” he says, ducking the question as girlfriend Parveen Dusanj smiles at his wit. About his personal style, he says, “It’s both formal and informal, at times a little eccentric.” And no compromise on shoes and belts.
