After a dozen peacocks died of heat stroke on Sunday at Hasanpur village in the foothills of the Aravali near Gurgaon, two more have succumbed on Tuesday. HT reports.
After a dozen peacocks died of heat stroke on Sunday at Hasanpur village in the foothills of the Aravali near Gurgaon, two more have succumbed on Tuesday.
Initial post-mortem reports suggested that the birds had died due to heat stroke.

However, the viscera samples have been sent for laboratory tests, the result of which is expected in the next 15 days.
“There were red patches in their muscles and internal organs. They died due to congestive heart failure due to heat stroke,” said Dr NK Mahajan, who had conducted the post-mortem.
