Gurgaon: NE man beaten up, admitted to hospital
Days after a Manipuri man was beaten to death in New Delhi, another man from Manipur was attacked in Gurgaon on Sunday night.
Two brothers beat up a Manipuri man in Gurgaon on Sunday night. They barged into the victim's house in Nathupur at 11pm and beat him up. The men were armed with knives.

Forty-year-old Soijamuan Phiamphu suffered severe head injury and has been admitted to a hospital nearby.
He works as a driver with a private company in Gurgaon and lives with his wife and two children in a rented accommodation in Nathupur village.
The attackers, Sujit, 24, and Ajit, 23, are the victim's neighbours.
Sujit has been arrested but Ajit is at large. Both parties were injured in the incident and are admitted in separate hospitals.
Police received a call from Neelkanth Hospital staff at 8:15am on Monday. The police reached the hospital soon after receiving the information. Earlier, the victim's family alleged that they called up the police control room at 11pm on Sunday but their call was disconnected.

According to doctors at the hospital, Phiamphu was in an inebirated state when he was rushed to the hospital. His blood sample was given to the police for investigation. He has been shifted from ICU to a private room. He has suffered injuries on his head and waist and received stitches, the police said.
