No chemical treatments:
Avoid hair dryers and other chemical treatments like hair straightening or perming during monsoons. Also, monsoon is the time to give your hair a break from hair gels and oils, as these attract dirt and other pollutants.

Regular hair wash:
Shampoo your hair regularly and use a good conditioner. Avoid tying your hair when wet, since this can make the ends brittle; also, the moisture trapped can cause flakiness and dandruff. Do not comb your hair when wet.

Split ends and frizziness:
Humidity can cause split ends and frizziness to your hair. Apply serum to towel-dried hair. This will add volume and also detangle your hair.

Tie high:
Go for short hairstyles, like bob cut or blunt cut during monsoons. Those with long tresses should tie their hair in a high ponytail or a bun.

Stay hydrated:
Have a proper protein-rich diet along with plenty of fruits and vegetables. Stay hydrated by drinking atleast two litres of water a day to keep your hair healthy even under humid conditions.
