Ryan Gosling has revealed that the Blade Runner sequel is an “extension” of the first film and not a remake.
The actor, 35, said the new movie will not be a remake of the 1982 sci-fi, reported Digital Spy.
“I can say that we start shooting in July, Harrison will be in and it’s not a remake of the story, more an extension. I’m really excited because I’m a huge fan of the original - I think that, aside from Alien, it’s one of the more important science fiction films ever.”
