Last seen together in Drive (2011), the actors will be together again on the set of fantasy drama How to Catch a Monster, according to indie production company Sienna/Affinity.

Now 31, Ryan Gosling has decided to give directing a go with How to Catch a Monster. He also penned the screenplay for the feature, described as a dark and "modern fairy tale."

Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) will portray a single mother raising two kids in "the surreal landscape of a vanishing city." In order to survive, she must dive into a dark fantasy underworld, and her son discovers a secret road leading to a mysterious underwater town.

Ryan Gosling will start shooting the film in the spring of 2013, according to Sienna/Affinity.
