England (310) got the better of New Zealand by 87 runs to qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy semi-finals. Chasing 311, the Kiwis got all out for 223 runs as Liam Plunkett took four wickets while Jake Ball took two wickets. Earlier, England scored 310 after half-centuries from Alex Hales (56), Joe Root (64) and Jos Buttler (61*). Corey Anderson took three wickets for the Kiwis while Tim Southee took two wickets.
