Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport recorded the highest number of cancellations so far, with 75 departures and 59 arrivals. In total, 134 flights were cancelled.

IndiGo flights cancelled live: A total of 5 IndiGo flights have been cancelled at Thiruvananthapuram airport for Monday. These included 3 departures and 2 arrivals, airport officials told ANI.

They also said that IndiGo operated 3 flights from the airport, including 2 departures and 1 arrival so far today.

IndiGo flights cancelled live: Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) was also among the worst-hit by IndiGo disruptions, with 77 IndiGo flights cancelled as of today. These included 38 arrivals and 39 departures, airport authorities told ANI.

Notably, IndiGo has come under pressure from both the government and passengers after cancelling hundreds of flights since December 2 because of changes in the pilots’ flight duty and regulation norms, leaving lakhs of travellers stranded at airports across the country.

IndiGo flights cancelled live: Ahmedabad airport reported 18 IndiGo cancellations by 8 am, which included nine arrivals and nine departures. Meanwhile, 21 IndiGo flights operated, with seven arrivals and 14 departures, officials told ANI.

More than 300 flights have been cancelled for today. Passengers at the Chennai, Mumbai and Guwahati airports were left waiting inside the terminals as they looked for updates on their flights.

She said that she checked the flight status before leaving but only learnt about her cancelled flight after reaching the airport. With no option left, she said she had to buy tickets worth ₹47,000.

“We have come here about 2 hours earlier, they have not even told us, there is no communication, flight is cancelled…The flight from Bengaluru to Mumbai, which is the same aircraft that goes back, has already been cancelled, which means clearly they knew there was no flight coming,” she told PTI.

“And right now we have just booked a ticket which was almost 47,000 rupees, just because there is no other option. The least they can do is put us on another flight, bear that cost, why should we be paying that cost,” she added.

IndiGo flights cancelled live: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Sunday granted IndiGo's accountable manager and chief executive officer a one-time 24-hour extension to submit their response to the show-cause notice issued on December 6 over large-scale operational disruptions and observed non-compliances.

According to the official statement, the two IndiGo functionaries sought more time in a request dated December 7.
