Tarapur election result 2025: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has won the Tarapur seat with a decisive margin of 45,843 votes, securing 1,22,480 votes in total. His closest rival, Arun Kumar of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, finished with 76,637 votes, while Santosh Kumar Singh of the Jan Suraaj Party managed 3,898 votes, trailing by a massive 1,18,582 votes.

The counting of votes for the Tarapur Assembly constituency culminated by around 6 pm, with Bihar deputy chief minister and the BJP leader emerging as a clear winner.
