Tejashwi pushes heavy vehicle to get in shape after PM Modi’s advice on reducing weight

Bihar’s leader of the opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, 32, is trying hard to lose some extra weight and seemingly is keen on getting in shape, just weeks after Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised him to reduce weight.

On Monday, the younger Yadav scion shared a video where he was pulling a jeep with his hands at his 10, Circular Road residence in the morning suggesting how a rigorous workout is part of his daily routine.
Last week, Yadav, a cricketer turned politician, was seen playing cricket with his household staff hitting some quick shots apparently to get fitter.
“Tejashwi has been a cricketer and always gives priority to his health. These days, he is doing exercises taking time off from his busy schedule to get more fit,” said Shakti Singh Yadav, a former MLA and an aide of the former deputy chief minister.
However, the opposition leader’s new found interest in reducing some flab by unconventional methods without the treadmill appears to have been triggered after PM Modi reportedly advised the Yadav scion to shed some weight, saying “Wazan kam karo,” during an event in the Bihar Assembly where two politicians shared some time together.

On the RJD official page in Facebook, the video of Yadav pushing an old model of a jeep (used for inspection of parades) for barely one yard or so by holding the handle in the rear end, has been captioned, “Usey gumaan hai hamari uddaan kuch kaam hai, hamey yekin hai ye aasmaan kuch kaam hai. (They surmise that our flight is a bit low but we feel the sky is a bit low). The caption is being seen as a subtle dig by the Yadav scion on his opponents not to underestimate his strength or ability to overcome challenges.
