"It is very nice that the Chief Election Commissioner has come to West Bengal for the second time with his full team. But we will be happy only when we see people voting without any fear on May 10," Banerjee told reporters after meeting CEC TS Krishnamurthy and Election Commissioners BS Tandon and Gopalaswamy at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata.

Asserting that she had not lodged complaint against any administrative or police official during her meeting with the Commission, Banerjee said her party had only named a few more polling centres in West Bengal where it was apprehending trouble on election day.

"Our only demand with the Election Commission is that they must ensure free and fair elections in the true sense of the term," she said.

During her 45-minute meeting with the Commission, Banerjee also congratulated the EC for taking note of many complaints lodged by political parties.
