Four IAS officers given higher grade

The Haryana government has promoted four 1989 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to higher administrative grade. They will get remuneration equivalent to an officer in the rank of principal secretary but may not be able to function as principal secretary till they are posted as such.

The elevated IAS officers are Arun Kumar, Mahavir Singh and Shiv Raman Gaur. Their batchmate Vivek Joshi who is on central deputation will get proforma promotion.
