Addressing a public meeting at Sewain Bazar in favour of party candidate Shital Pandey, Kalyan Singh called upon party workers to ensure his victory.

He said the people of Mohammadabad had rejected the SP government and expressed hope that the same result would be repeated here.

Criticising the government for its failure to check cases of crime in the State, Singh alleged murders were being committed in police stations and jails.

He further said the SP was promoting terrorism in the State and criticised Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav for not visiting Ayodhya after the terrorist attack there .
