"In view of the Annual Darbar move from Srinagar to Jammu, traffic along the national highway will be allowed to ply one way," a police spokesman said.

The traffic movement on the highway would be one-sided between October 29-30 and November 5-6, he said.

The state government shifts its base from the summer capital to Jammu at the end of October.

The government again shifts its base from Jammu in the last week of April and reopens in Srinagar in May.
