President APJ Abdul Kalam will visit Seoul next month for talks with his South Korean counterpart on bilateral issues, officials said on Tuesday.

Kalam will exchange views with South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun on "issues of mutual concern, including measures to enhance relations between the two countries" during his four-day trip starting on February 6, Roh's office said in a statement.

It would be the first time an Indian president visit South Korea, according to the statement.

The leaders of the two countries are expected to agree on starting discussion on a bilateral economic partnership, the statement said.
