Heather Mills, the estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney, has suffered a relapse and is back in a wheelchair after the split from her husband.

According to ananova.com, friends say Mills has not had proper sleep for the past two weeks. A friend says: "She's in a very low place."

Another said: "We're very worried about her. She's at a very low ebb emotionally and physically. She is unable to walk and is in a wheelchair. She is in so much pain."

Mills recently had a revision amputation on her amputated leg.

McCartney is supposedly very concerned for her and calls her up regularly but has not seen her since the split two weeks ago.

Mills is being taken care of by her sister and close friends.
