Traffic comes to a halt at sea link as car turns turtle
Traffic was disrupted at the Bandra Worli Sea Link (BSWL) for an hour on Wednesday morning when a vehicle turned turtle at the Worli end of the sea link. No one was hurt in the accident, however, it led to a traffic jam that lasted for around an hour.

Later the vehicle was towed away by a crane.
According to Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Brajesh Singh, “The incident took place on around 9 am on Wednesday when a Hyundai i10 vehicle turned turtle after hitting the divider. As a result there was a small traffic jam at the Worli end of the sea-link. Our officers however reached the spot quicky and the vehicle was towed away.” According to Worli police, a group of youngsters were driving to college for an examination in the Hyundai i10 when they met with an accident on the BSWL. A police officer said, “The tyre of the vehicle burst as they were driving towards south Mumbai. As a result the vehicle collided with the divider.”
The officer added, “As a result of the accident the other cars on the sea link came to a sudden halt. The traffic movement started only after the Hyundai was towed away.”
