The developers put up hoardings on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, besides almost all main roads inside Noida, promoting their projects.

“Get a farmhouse in Noida at the cost of an apartment” is the sales pitch of most developers, who sell 500-square-metre plots for Rs. 45 lakh.

The developers are constructing roads, houses and drains on their own to attract buyers, mostly from Delhi, and are also touting swimming pools, sports grounds, clubs and parks.

“The administration should file an FIR against such people to stop this immediately. Why is the administration sleeping over this grave issue?” said local environmentalist Vikrant Tongad.
