Dengue claims four lives in Indore

With the death of a 23-year-old youth in Indore recently, the dengue toll in the city has risen to four in 2014. A laboratory test confirmed that the youth had died on November 27 during treatment.

With the death of a 23-year-old youth in Indore recently, the dengue toll in the city has risen to four in 2014.

Integrated Diseases Surveillance Project's (IDDP) district in-charge GL Sodhi said a laboratory test confirmed that a 23-year-old youth had died on November 27 during treatment at a private hospital because of dengue.

In all, 139 people had tested positive for dengue, he said, adding out of them, four had died during treatment so far.
