Singer Shaan to perform at Indore Mahotsav

Well-known singer Shaan will be the star performer at the inaugural ceremony of the three-day Indore Mahotsav on February 20. Adventure sports, a marathon race, cultural programmes, handicrafts fair and food festival will be the main attractions of the festival.

Adventure sports at Choral dam and Pipliyapala Regional Park, a marathon race, cultural programmes, handicrafts fair and food festival at Pipliyapla will be the main attractions of the festival. On the concluding day, playback singer Akriti Kakkar will perform.

Shaan will perform at the regional park on February 20 and the following day a poetic meet will be organised at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya auditorium at Khandwa Road where well-known poets like Ashok Chakradhar, Pradeep Chaube, Wasim Barelvi, Munnawar Rana, Satyanarayan Sattan, among others, will present poems.

On the last day, a marathon race would be organised in which around 25,000 to 30,000 people are expected to participate. Akriti Kakkar will perform at the regional park later in the evening.

During the course of celebrations, a handicraft fair and food festival showcasing handicrafts of Madhya Pradesh and food items from Malwa region will be the main draw.

At Pipliyapala and Choral dam, water sports, para sailing, rock/wall climbing and other adventure sports will be organised on all three days.
