Dinesh Karthik, 31, achieved the landmark during Sunday’s 2017 IPL game against his former team Kings XI Punjab at Rajkot. Karthik claimed his 100th victim in style, diving full length to the right to catch Kings XI Punjab opener Manan Vohra off Gujarat Lions pace bowler Nathu Singh. (LIVE SCORE)
Dinesh Karthik, who has also played for Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore, hit the milestone ahead of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Karthik reached the 100-victim mark by taking his 74th catch, in his 145th match and 129th innings. MS Dhoni, India’s limited-overs wicketkeeper, has 94 victims in 149 matches and 142 innings.

The list of most successful IPL wicketkeepers throws up some surprises. Kolkata Knight Riders’ Robin Uthappa is third while the long-retired Australian stalwart Adam Gilchrist is still fifth in the list to top wicketkeepers. (graphic)
