Jaydev Unadkat put in a record-breaking performance at Uppal, Hyderabad, as he picked up his second five-wicket haul and a hat-trick to give his team Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) a memorable 12-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday. (Match highlights)

What made the achievement more remarkable for Unadkat was that he achieved the hat-trick in the final over with Sunrisers Hyderabad needing 13 to win and ended with a triple-wicket maiden over. His haul helped Rising Pune Supergiant move to second in the IPL 2017 points table while Sunrisers Hyderabad remained in fourth. (Scorecard)

During the course of his spell, Unadkat joined an elite list of bowlers in the history of the tournament. Here are a list of his records.

3 - Unadkat also picked up a hat-trick in the course of his haul. This was the third hat-trick of IPL 2017. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Samuel Badree and Gujarat Lions’ Andrew Tye are the other bowlers to take a hat-trick in this edition. Remarkably, both Badree and Tye took their hat-trick on the same day.

2 - Unadkat’s haul of 5/30 was his second five-wicket haul in IPL, with his previous best being 5/25 against Delhi Daredevils while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is also the second bowler in IPL history to take two five-wicket hauls, the first being Australia’s James Faulkner

14 - Total number of bowlers who have taken hat-tricks in IPL. Amit Mishra has taken the most hat-tricks in this tournament with three while Yuvraj Singh has taken a hat-trick twice.

2 - Unadkat became the second bowler in IPL history to take a hat-trick in the final over of the match, the other being L Balaji for Chennai Super Kings against Kings XI Punjab in the 2008 edition. However, Unadkat is the first bowler ever to bowl a triple-wicket maiden in the final over.

1 - First home loss for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2017. They had won their five previous home games.

2 - Unadkat bowled his second maiden over in IPL 2017, which is the most by any bowler. Two other Rising Pune Supergiant bowlers have bowled maidens in this edition - Lockie Ferguson and Ben Stokes.
