Shah to address state BJP working committee meet on Saturday

A two-day working committee meeting of Rajasthan Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) began in Jaipur on Friday. State BJP president Madanlal Saini and chief minister Vasundhara Raje were among the dignitaries who inaugurated the meeting.
BJP president Amit Shah will address the concluding day session on Saturday.
Party’s Rajasthan in-charge and national vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna told reporters that some important proposals, including those related to political and economic issues, were brought up during the meet.
State BJP president Madanlal Saini said the strategy for the assembly and parliamentary elections will be discussed during the event. The party president will give directions to the workers for the future course of action.
Party’s national joint general secretary (organisation) V Satish, state general secretary (organisation) Chandrashekhar, former state BJP president Ashok Parnami and state home minister Gulabchand Kataria were among those present on dais.
A total of 474 members of the party, including party’s national leaders, state office-bearers, MLAs, and district-level office-bearers, took part in the meeting. The meeting of state executive began at 2 pm and continued till 4.30 pm, and was followed by the inaugural session that concluded at 6.30 pm.
Shah will reach Jaipur on Saturday morning to take part in the meeting. The BJP has planned a traditional welcome for Shah during his road journey from the airport to the venue, Totuka Bhawan. A route rehearsal was held on Thursday under the supervision of state BJP president Saini and other BJP leaders. Shah will also address social media volunteers at Raj Mandir cinema hall on Saturday afternoon.
Party’s general secretary Bhupendra Yadav, MP Omprakash Mathur, union ministers CR Chaudhary, PP Chaudhary, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Arjunlal Meghwal, and Vijay Goel, and Rajya Sabha MP Rajkumer Verma will also attend the working committee meeting.
The second day of the meeting will focus on the roadmap for winning the next assembly elections.
