How to deal with a case of a neglected pupper and apps that can help you mentally
How to deal with a case of a neglected pupper and apps that can help you mentally

What to do if you think your sibling can’t take care of their puppy and apps you can download that can help improve your day

Puppy comes first

My sister has adopted a dog that she refuses to take care of as she’s barely home, and my parents can’t keep up with the pooch. How can I convince her to put it up for adoption (my neighbours are keen on adopting the dog)?

—Shantanu, Via Instagram

Open communication is the key—speak with her and tell her exactly how you feel about sharing responsibility and her lack of it. If after that you feel like you’re getting nowhere, then tell her why it’s the best decision for the family to put up the dog for adoption, since it’s even in the pet’s best interest to be properly loved and cared for.

Inner peace

What are some apps that will help my mental health, whether with uplifting quotes or meditation tips?

—Kanika, Delhi

For mental health, I always recommend seeing a therapist; that face time is invaluable. However, the apps I use for meditation are Headspace and Calm. For affirmations, I use I AM.
