On Monday, Shilpa kickstarted her week on a fitness high. The actor is slowly getting back post her leg injury, with slow routines with her injured leg as well. On Monday, Shilpa shared a video where she can be seen performing a glute-activator routine with the help of a Wunda chair. In the video, Shilpa can be seen working on strengthening her glute muscles of one leg, with her other leg folded at the knee and stable on the chair. She can be seen performing the same routine with her other leg as well. Shilpa suffered Left Tibial Plateau Fracture in her left knee and is in the process of recovering, hence, she is taking it slow. “I’ve performed this routine with a more Upright stance. The Upright stance will be gentle on the knee at this stage. Unilateral exercises like these are important as they help with strengthening the weaker side and bring it up, so there is no muscular imbalance especially during the recovery period post an injury,” read an excerpt of her post.

Shilpa further shared the many benefits of her routine. “It activates and strengthens the glute and leg muscles; and is really good for Prehab and Rehab. I’ve used the Wunda Chair for the perfect form,” Shilpa added. This routine also helps in improving stability and reducing muscle imbalances between both the legs. “Let nothing pull you down. If you set your mind to it, you can move mountains,” Shilpa wrapped her post with a motivation for her Instagram family.
