Pranav Patil, president of NGO Paper Revolution foundation (PRF), said, “Many people think voting is a waste of time. We want to tell them that picking the right person can change our city for the better. Two months ago, we came up with the idea of standing with placards at junctions. We are happy that even the traffic police are supporting us.”

Members of the NGO stood at Teen Hath Naka Signal on the Eastern Express Highway.

Shivam Singh, 23, a sailor, said, “The initiative is good. I have come for vacation, but I will make sure that I vote.”

A traffic police officer from Thane traffic department said, “We want such students in more numbers.”
